Several months ago, I posted about the release of a special limited edition OCC lip tar called January Rising in order to raise money for an OCC employee’s (the titular January) transitional surgery. I gladly contributed to the campaign, and received my lip tar quite a while ago — maybe a month or even longer. Even before I received that, however, I’d gone to Sephora and tried out the OCC lip tar in NSFW — my boyfriend liked it so much, he bought it for me as a gift. So, this is a very belated review but I felt I had to do it considering how much I like them.
If you recall from my Sephora Disney Jasmine compact review, I’m a huge Disney fan. I’m still upset about missing the Cinderella compact, so this time around, I tried to be on my toes for the Ariel compact. I somehow still managed to miss it online. I hopped on at midnight when it released, dropped it in my cart and by the time I made it to checkout, it was sold out. Can you believe that? This Disney obsession is getting out of control… Luckily, I live in a rather small-ish city (the only time I’ll say luckily about that!) so I booked it to my local Sephora the first day of August and asked a friendly SA if they had it in stock.
And, just like with the Jasmine compact, they didn’t have it out on the floor yet but they were more than glad to pull it from the back for me.
So, without further ado, here is the Sephora Disney Ariel Set the Mood Compact mirror!
I feel awful because I totally neglected to post up my ipsy June and July bags! I took pictures of them, started writing draft posts, but then just never finished editing or writing! Well, my August ipsy bag arrived two days ago and I was on it like white on rice. I loved my June and July bags, and I’m absolutely blown away by August’s bag. So, let’s take a peek at what I got!
Recently, I had the opportunity to try out OMG Nail Strips. These are printed nail polish strips which come in over 40 different styles and prints; the brand notes they plan to add hundreds more in the future. Nail stickers have seen something of a recent revival in popularity, and I think the most easily accessible and well-known brand are from Sally Hansen. I was sent strips in the design “Viper” to try out.
