Time for another ipsy bag! I’m really bad about these. I usually procrastinate on posting these until it’s already the next month! (As you can tell by the lack of a January bag…) But for once, I wasn’t super behind on posting this — my bag this month was realllly late. I didn’t receive it until February 21st. Well, was it worth the wait? Let’s see!

This month’s bag is rather plain on the outside — it’s a Barbie pink with white zipper trim. The inside is where the action is, with a pink leopard print.

I think most people would have preferred the print on the outside, but I like simplicity. :nope: And here’s what I received~

City Color Be Matte blush in Fresh Melon (RRP: $2.99)
‘Tini Beauty shadow tint in Spiced Rum (RRP: $18)
Pop Beauty Plump Pout in Peony Petal (RRP: $16)
Zoya nail polish in Odette (RRP: $9)
NuMe Intense Renewal Hair Mask – deluxe sample size (RRP: $29)

With the exception of the NuMe mask, everything seems to be full size, so the value of this month’s bag is over $46. Not bad!

Let’s look at the City Colors Be Matte blush first.

This is a huge sized blush! It’s got a nice silky texture, and the name is really perfect — it’s a bright pinky coral, that can be applied sheerly or built up. I thought it would be a filler item, but after trying it out, I am really liking it!

Next is the ‘Tini Beauty shadow tint in Spiced Rum.

I mistakenly thought this was a lip gloss at first! Luckily, I sniffed it first (what? doesn’t everyone smell their beauty products?) and thought it smelled off. So then I actually, you know, read the label and saw it’s a cream shadow. This is SUPER pigmented! It dries down fairly quickly, so you’ll have to work quick to blend it out.

Now for the actual lip gloss, the Pop Beauty Plump Pout!

This is touted as a plumping gloss, but there are no traditionally plumping ingredients like cinnamon or peppermint in it, so it seems this relies on moisturization and the actual glossiness factor to “plump” up lips. It’s a beautiful raspberry pink. It is scented rather strongly, and I can’t quite detect the exact scent, but it reminds me of the gold tube Estee Lauder lipsticks which smell like fig. It’s not exactly a scent I like, but it doesn’t bother me too much.

Here are swatches of the above!

Next up is the Zoya nail polish in Odette.

This is actually a pretty new release, so it was a nice surprise. Odette is an interesting shade. It’s a pinky purplish mauve creme. I think it’ll be a nice Spring shade that’s not the usual pastel.

Finally the NuMe Intense Renewal Hair Mask.

Not much to see here. I haven’t tried it yet, since I normally use coconut oil for my hair, but I’m going to try this out soon.

Overall, this month’s bag was a really good mix. Even though the items seemed kinda boring at first glance, the blush and shadow tint in particular stand out to me as sleeper hits.

What do you think of my ipsy February bag? Overall, I’m still really satisfied with my ipsy subscription, especially with the value for the money.
