I think my last order was from Haus of Gloi? I have good reasons though — It’s a rabbit hole! A person can get in serious trouble in the world of …
I have to admit, and this won’t be news to anyone, but I have a serious weakness for packaging. I love girly, princess-y designs but I also really love plain ole cute. Luckily for me, the Asian beauty industry has got my back. Today’s post is a ton of cute in one slim tube: the Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar!

No, not shark week — something much nicer: ipsy time! Since I’m coming up short on time (i.e., it’s the 31st!), let’s get straight into this month’s bag.
Several months ago, I posted about the release of a special limited edition OCC lip tar called January Rising in order to raise money for an OCC employee’s (the titular January) transitional surgery. I gladly contributed to the campaign, and received my lip tar quite a while ago — maybe a month or even longer. Even before I received that, however, I’d gone to Sephora and tried out the OCC lip tar in NSFW — my boyfriend liked it so much, he bought it for me as a gift. So, this is a very belated review but I felt I had to do it considering how much I like them.
I feel awful because I totally neglected to post up my ipsy June and July bags! I took pictures of them, started writing draft posts, but then just never finished editing or writing! Well, my August ipsy bag arrived two days ago and I was on it like white on rice. I loved my June and July bags, and I’m absolutely blown away by August’s bag. So, let’s take a peek at what I got!
For the month of May, Julep deviated a bit from their usual hand and nail offerings to introduce their lip color line. May’s theme was Set the Stage, likely inspired by the release of The Great Gatsby movie (and the subsequent revival in art deco and 1920s fashion). I chose the Modern Beauty box, which included the New York Jazz lip trio, a sugar scrub and a mascara. The other box options had one of two lip color trios and two nail polishes, with the exception of one which had all nail polish. Let’s see what I got!
I have nothing to disclose.
Small break from my grad school stupor… I learned about this a few weeks ago, made a mental note to post about it and then of course promptly forgot. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (otherwise known as OCC) is releasing a limited edition lip tar named January Rising to help fund the sexual reassignment surgery of one of their staff, January.
